Assembly Options

We offer you choices on how much assembly you wish to do on our products.

  • Our teak furniture comes fully assembled because it is designed to fold up for easy storage.
  • Our cedar furniture is offered in two forms:
    • our "assembled" version is a knock-down kit that is 80-95% assembled.
    • a 100% completely unassembled version.
  • Our cedar sheds come only in the knock-down version.

What does this mean to you? Savings!

If you don't mind spending a little extra time, the completely unassembled version is a great choice. By choosing to spend a little extra assembly time, you can save on the cost of the item.

Is the knock-down or unassembled versions one of those "Slip Tab A into Slot B" nightmares?

No! And we don't blame you for wondering.

6 reasons you’ll love our knock-down or unassembled versions:

  • Both versions have exactly the same high quality materials and detailed craftsmanship.
  • All components have been pre-cut, drilled and sanded.
  • All components have smooth routed edges so no splinters.
  • All components have been pre-fitted to insure you have no problems.
  • All rust resistant zinc plated hardware.
  • The instructions are simple and illustrated.

So, what's the difference?

Below are two different illustrations of what a kit for our Adirondack chairs would look like.

The 100% unassembled kit.

If you don't mind assembling your own furniture and, in the process, saving a few extra dollars these kits include the same high quality materials and detailed craftsmanship that is featured in our pre-assembled (knock-down) line of furniture.
All components have been pre-cut, drilled and sanded.

All hardware and illustrated instructions are included.

The "assembled" knock-down kit.

For those who can't afford the time and would simply like to have their new product together and ready for use as soon as possible. This option comes, depending on the product, 80% - 95% completed with the remaining structures pre-drilled and pre-fitted to provide the customer with minimal set-up effort.
